What is special about a Certified Appraiser? Print E-mail

To qualify as an AJA Certified Appraiser, valuers have to meet the highest professional standards, in terms of experience, qualifications, integrity, knowledge, equipment, procedures and presentation.

Every schedule is composed under very stringent guidelines laid down by the AJA (Association of Jewellery Appraisers) to ensure that you receive accurate information and that you are fully aware of any limiting factors that may apply to your jewellery valuation. Certified Appraiser's work is scrutinised by the AJA to ensure that these guidelines are being met.

The AJA believe that 1 year of experience repeated 30 times is not the same thing as 30 years experience. For this reason all Certified Appraisers have to meet strict targets for ongoing education and involvement within the profession.
