There are two levels of membership:- Certified Appraiser This status is awarded to those Appraisers that have demonstrated their high standard by completing the AJA Certified Appraiser Process. Certified status is only awarded for one year at a time as the Appraiser must continue to provide satisfactory evidence that his or her standards are being mantained and knowledge is expanding. Certified Appraisers represent the most commited, experienced, highly qualified, knowledgable and ethical jewellery valuers in the UK.
Candidate Member Candidate Membership is open to all Professional Jewellery Appraisers who have not yet completed the AJA Certified Appraiser Process. Most Candidate Members are themselves very experienced Jewellery Valuers but applications are also invited from any Jewellery Appraisers wishing to grow within the industry.
